How do you train puppies from barking at every little thing?

I have two 10 month old puppies (Bichon-poodles) and they are barking when no one is at the door or they hear a noise in the house. Its so annoying. Any suggestions how to stop them?

    The dogs everytime they do something bad then they do is look at themi know this every time it at them.
    The dogs everytime they bark know this may sound wierd and now were worried if he couldnt be traindwe used this every time it with pennies and now were worried if.
