What Are Good Rewards For Puppy Training?

For example, would it be okay to train my dog and reward him with cheerios? Just plain cheerios, not flavored or anything. I would rather not go out and buy treats because I don’t think those are very healthy for puppies. Any other suggestions of household foods or other ideas for a reward system would be great! Thanks!

The ball or with quick game of catch with kong filled with peanut butter which my girl loves to bits lol.

Toys, Doggy treats, and peanut butter. Just be sure to give the dog a treat only when they do good, or else they will expect one all the time, and become confused on what is good or bad.
